Students at Adams Middle School have available to them the services of a variety of supportive programs. These services are used to augment and enrich the academic program, assist in solving personal problems, and serve as aids to teachers in total program planning, implementation, and evaluation. These services are an integral part of the total school program.                                                                                                                  Mr. John Simmons is our Resourse Officer Officer Simmons has been with the Tampa Police Department since 1997.  SRO Simmons has been in the Hillsborough County School System as an SRO for the past three years.  The police department has a website designed to address the problems associated with gangs (Tampabaygangs.com). Mrs. Bernadette Alers is our Social Worker Dr. Brittany Bevilacqua  is our School Psychologist Dr. Bevilacqua, aka "Dr. B", is our school psychologist. She loves working with middle school students and helping them to grow educationally, emotionally and socially. Dr. Bevilacqua conducts psychological evaluations of students to assist with educational planning. She consults with teachers and staff about ways in which they can help students who are struggling academically or behaviorally. Dr. Bevilacqua is also available to provide individual and small group counseling on a variety of topics that affect middle school students. Dr. B has an open door policy and welcomes anyone to stop by and talk with her. Brittany M.
