Hillsborough County Out-Of-School Time (H.O.S.T
Before (A.M.) School Program
The A.M. School Program begins at 7:20 am until 8:40 am. All students arriving on campus before 8:20 must be registered, pay weekly on Monday of the participating week, and report directly to the Cafeteria where homework assistance and tutoring are available. All students are encouraged to read Reading Counts (RC) books during this time. Students arriving without payment will not be allowed to stay in HOST.
After (P.M.) School Program
The P.M. School Program is held in Room 143 and begins at 4:15 and ends at 6:00 pm daily. The After School Program (HOST) will NOT be available on Conference Nights, Early Release Days, and Vacation periods. Homework assistance, tutoring, computers, and outdoor recreation will be available to the
students during the week. PM Students arriving at 4:15 without payment will stay in the office.
Students who are picked up after 6:00 pm, without a phone call, will be assessed $1.00 per minute.
Habitual tardiness picking up students (3 or more) will result in dismissal from the program. It will be necessary to initiate abandoned child procedures for children remaining at the H.O.S.T. (Hillsborough County Out-Of-School Time) program at ADAMS after 6:00 pm. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
$$$ Fees $$$
There is a $15.00 annual registration fee for all programs. The A.M. School Program has a $10.00 a week fee. All students arriving on campus before 8:40 am MUST be registered and pay weekly. The P.M. School Program is $25.00 per week. A student attending both A.M. and P.M. School Programs will pay $35.00 per week. For students attending both AM & PM:
++ Second Siblings pays an additional $20.00 per week; third sibling is FREE
++ We accept School Readiness/Title 20 Vouchers
NOTE: Please pay with Checks/Money Orders ONLY. Remember to include Student
Name, Student ID number and Grade Level on all checks/money orders. Make
Checks payable to Adams HOST.
Emergencies/illnesses – parents/guardians will be notified of all medical emergencies. If the Parent or Guardian cannot be contacted, the instructor will contact the appropriate medical authorities.
