Course Placement
A student's course placement is determined by his or her performance on standardized tests, namely his or her FCAT NRT (Norm-Referenced Test) score. While NRT's are the primary course placement indicator, attention is given to students' FCAT SSS (Sunshine State Standards) scores as well as their test history over the last three years. In addition, other factors such as teacher recommendations and the student's grade history are considered as needed on a case by case basis.
