CORE BELIEFS
Teachers, staff and students will work together as a family unit creating a community of life long learners.
* Student(s) expectations are clearly defined, continually monitored and consistently reinforced.
* Specific attention is given to the appropriateness of parent and teacher responses to student behavior.
* Appropriate and logical consequences, both positive and negative, are clearly connected to student behavior and are instructional, equitable, reasonable, and timely. Teachers, staff and students are treated with respect and dignity at all times. Sensitivity to human and cultural diversity will be enforced.
* Every student will be aware of who this or her adult advocate is to turn to in times of need.
* Appropriate social, emotional and life skills are taught and these skills and the reinforcement for employing them becomes intrinsic.
